Road & Dirt Sun Valley Road & Dirt is a non-profit cycling club dedicated to expanding cycling in the Wood River Valley. Founded and operated by the valley's premier cyclists, Road & Dirt takes a very unique, hands on approach to coaching, riding and racing with the juniors. It is so much more than a training schedule. Our main priority is fostering a passion for the sport of cycling. Our belief is that cycling is a life long endeavor which offers many opportunities for personal growth on all levels. The true success of our club will be measured years from now, by the successes of our alumni and members in every day life, as they become positive citizens within the community. Road & Dirt actively promotes junior development, grass roots racing, and outdoor fun for all ages. Our Mission 1. To teach young people life lessons through the sport of cycling, and to develop top-level regional, national and international junior and adult cyclists through coaching, mentoring, and providing opportunities for freindly club competition 2. To promote cycling (in all of it's forms) in the Wood River Valley to all ages and abilities 3. To improve bicycling trails, facilities, and trail riding opportunities 4. To further all phases of cycling |
